Location

The station is located in the northwest corner of a forecourt which extends east to Great Eastern Road (north/south) and south to the Stratford Bus Station, details of which lie beyond the scope of this survey.

Entrances and Exits

There are three entrances/exits providing step-free access to this station:

Local Road Crossings

Great Eastern Road

This crossing, almost due east of the entrance, is a two-stage crossing with tactile paving throughout. The west stage, nearer the station, is Great Eastern Road itself. There's a post with push button and rotating cone to each side as you cross in either direction.

The east stage is a service road outside the shopping centre. The posts with push button and rotating cone are south of the crossing, that is to your right as you cross away from the station, or to your left as you cross towards it.

Local Buses

The Stratford Bus Station lies south of the station, that is in front of you as you leave via the Main Exit, beyond the forecourt which is a paved area with large planters. Details of this bus station lie beyond the scope of this survey.

Local Features

Great Eastern Road

There's a significant shopping centre on the east side of Great Eastern Road, continue forward from the crossing of the service road.

The Forecourt

There's a canopy extending south from the main entrance. Note that the bus station lies south of this station and that extensive building work was in progress at the time of our most recent visit - January 2012.
