From the east end of platform 1, go up 15 steps, going east, the first step is smaller than the rest. Continue east, up 14 steps going east onto the bridge. From here you can turn right and continue towards platform 2, or you can continue east up one step to the fence, turn right, locate the gap to your left then go down two steps, going east onto the west side of Mill Road. There are railings along the east side of the pavement across the bridge.

From the south end of the bridge, go down 14 then 13 steps, going west, to platform level.

There’s a fence to each side of the steps from each platform.
