There's a waiting area about in the middle of the platform which has two sets of automatic doors. the set nearer the front of the train leads to the escalators, whilst the other set is nearer the lift and stairs. There is a walkway between the two sections of the waiting area.
There is tactile paving along the edge of this platform.
The left-hand escalator is normally the one you need. turn right at the top, through the automatic doors, onto the platform. We believe you're beside the front half of the train.
The lift is opposite the foot of the escalators, the call button is to your right of the door. Go up to platform level.
Leave via the other doors then turn right and follow the wall round to your right (north), then right again (east). Continue (east) through the automatic doors. We believe you're about in the middle of the train.
There's tactile flooring at the top and bottom of these stairs.
The foot of the stairs is on your left at the far end of the passage towards the westbound platform 2. At the end of the passage, turn left south, go up ten then six steps, going south. There are two fire exit doors in front of you, note signs indicate that these are alarmed. There's tactile flooring before you reach these doors.
Turn left (180 degrees, north), go up eight steps, going north, there's a blank door in front of you. Turn right (180 degrees, south), go up eight steps, going south, then turn right again (180 degrees, north) and go up eight steps, going north, to platform level.
As you reach the top of the steps, the recess to the lift is to your right, continue beyond this before turning right (east) and continue, through the automatic doors onto the platform. We believe you're about in the middle of the train.

This is a rectangular space with a passage leading south towards the lift and stairs.
