Platforms 1 to 12 are directly accessible from the walkway inside the gates leading to the platform level concourse. As you leave a platform, the higher numbered platforms are to your left. Note that platforms 11 and 12 jut out into the concourse further than the others so, for platform 12, you should follow the right-hand wall around the end of tracks 11 and 12 then turn left as you reach the wall in front of you.
The routes to/from platforms 13 and 14 is a little more complicated, so the bulk of this page is confined to details of these.
These are long platforms, but we understand that trains normally stop such that the rear of the train is near the exit points from the platforms. It may be worth asking someone, if you arrive on platform 13, whether you're on platform 13B. If so, you'll need to move some distance beyond the front of the train.

From Platform 13 From Platform 14 To Platforms 13 and 14 |
You can leave via stairs, escalator or lift from this platform. Whichever you choose, you reach the bridge facing west, towards the moving walkways to platforms 10 and 11.
You continue from the top, through a short corridor into the Link Bridge Lounge. For platforms 1 - 11, continue, avoiding benches and other furniture, onto the left-hand of the two walkways in front of you. From the end, continue forwards onto the next walkway and thence to the gate.
For platform 12, you can turn left beyond Costa Coffee and take the lift down onto the east end of the platform. Visit the lifts page for more details.
For platforms 1 to 11, leave the lift and turn right, continue onto the bridge. There are two lifts to your right, one opposite the steps down to platform 10, the other opposite those to platforms 8 and 9.
For platform 12, leave the lift and continue into the Link Bridge Lounge. Pass the chairs and tables outside Costa Coffee to your left then turn left to the lift. At platform level, you're at the east end of platform 12, facing the concourse. Visit the lifts page for more details.
Having reached platform level, go towards the gates into the platform level concourse.
There is only step and lift access directly from this platform. If you need an escalator, you'll need to continue beyond the rear of the train and locate the steps and escalator to your left(ascending in the direction of the train).
Go up two flights of steps, turn left at the top into the Link Bridge Lounge. Move, beyond the forecourt of Costa Coffee before turning left again towards the moving walkways.
Take the left-hand walkway, continue from the bottom onto the second walkway, then continue towards the gates into the platform level concourse.
As you reach the steps from platform 14, move left and follow the wall round to locate the lift, in the middle of the island platform, just beyond the customer services office.
For platforms 1 to 11, leave the lift, turn right and continue onto the main bridge. There are two lifts to your right, one opposite the steps down to platform 10, the other opposite those to platforms 8 and 9.
Having reached platform level, go towards the gates into the platform level concourse.
For platform 12, continue forward, passing the chairs and tables outside Costa Coffee to your, then turn left towards the lift. At platform level, you're at the eat end of platform 12, facing the concourse.

Move onto the island platform 10 and 11 then continue, along the middle of this island, away from the platform level concourse, until you reach the moving walkways. Take the left-hand walkway, continue from the end of this onto the second walkway up to the bridge level.
Continue, avoiding benches and other furniture, forward to the wall in front of you.
Move slightly left and continue along the short passage to the top of the steps. Note that the upward escalator is to your right of these steps. Go down two flights of steps then turn left onto the platform. We understand you're near the rear of the train. If you need platform 13B, turn left (west) and continue, at least beyond the steps up from platform 14.
Turn right, continue to the wall in front of you then turn right again. Continue, down two flights of steps and turn left onto the platform. We understand you're near the rear of the train.
Move onto Platform 10 and continue, away from the platform level concourse, beyond the steps to the bridge and locate the lift on your right, then turn left at bridge level.
Pass the corridor to steps and escalator on your left and locate the lift, just beyond this.
At platform level, turn right onto platform 13. We understand you're near the rear of the train. Move left and continue forward onto platform 14, we understand you're behind the rear of the train.

Note that, from platform 12 you can use the lift from the far end into the Link Bridge Lounge. Move to your right, round the tables and chairs outside Costa Coffee then turn right and locate the lift to platforms 13 and 14 on your left.
