General Information

The island platform has tactile paving near each edge.
A draininge channel runs almost the entire length of platform 1, the platform slopes from each side into this channel. The slope is more marked from the platform 2 side.
Another drainage channel runs along platform 2, for the length of the station building.

From Which Entrance?

From the Niddrie Road Entrance

From the southeast side of Niddrie Road, turn into the entrance and continue (southeast) over a metal bridge, for about 20 metres. Go down two flights of metal steps, then seven concrete steps onto the path. Continue for about 40 metres, then up the slope onto the island platform. Platform 2, towards Cathcart is to your left, whilst platform 1, towards Glasgow Central is to your right. You should continue to the covered area to be sure of being beside the train when it arrives.

From the Victoria Road Entrance

From the Northwest side of Victoria Road, turn into the entrance and continue over a metal bridge for about 20 metres then go down two flights of metal steps onto the island platform. Platform 1, towards Glasgow Central is to your left, whilst platform 2, towards Cathcart is to your right. You should continue to the covered area of the station to be sure of being beside the train when it arrives.
