PLATFORM 1

General Information

There is a railing, along the platform edge, for the first 100 metres, and a tactile strip near the platform edge, extending from this. After a while the platform bends left (west).

There's a concrete wall, extending to 15 metres from the platform edge, at the end of the platform. The wall retreats at 45 degrees (southeast) away from the platform edge forming the north end of a wide empty space. The east edge of the platform proper is marked by a line of pillars and girders. From the beginning of the platform the pillars are a short way from the wall and there was a lot of machinery between and behind them.
