The Local Road Network

The station lies between the Mall (south) and Madeley Road (north). Madeley Road runs east from a roundabout from which the other two exits form boundary roads to the north and east of a grassy area called Haven Green. The third (southwest) boundary, running west then curving north from the point at which the eastern boundary meets the Broadway, joins the north boundary at the point where it becomes Castlebar Road, which continues west towards Wood Green. The Broadway continues south from Haven Green then turns right (west) at the junction with the Mall.

The traffic flows one-way, clockwise around the east and southwest boundaries of Haven Green and southwards along the Broadway to the junction with the Mall. There is two-way traffic along the northern boundary of Haven Green.

Location

The station has a single exit onto the east side of the pavement of a lay by, to which the north end leads from the eastern boundary of Haven Green and the southern (exit) leads into the Broadway.

The lay by provides a vehicle drop-off point for the station and access to The car park which lies to the west. The car park is bounded by the lay by (east) and the island pavement along the east side of the eastern boundary of Haven Green and the Broadway, to the west.

Local Crossings

There's a zebra crossing over the eastern boundary to Haven Green, a few metres north of the lay by and a Pelican crossing over the north end of The Broadway, from the island pavement west of the car park. This crossing, with push button to the north on each side of The Broadway, has sounder but no rotating cone.

There's a triangular island in the junction between the Broadway and the Mall, offering traffic light controlled crossings from each side. Details of these crossings appear in our "Routes between Ealing Broadway Station and Perceval House", to be published shortly.

Local Taxis

The taxi rank is on the west side of the eastern boundary of Haven Green and can be reached via the zebra crossing, cross then turn left. Alternatively, you can cross either end of the lay by onto the island pavement, cross via the Pelican crossing, turn right then cross the southwest boundary of Haven Green. The taxi rank is then on your right, after a few metres.
