WIDE AISLE GATE

DESCRIBE ONLINE

Overview

London Underground is installing Wide Aisle Gates (WAGs) in many of its stations.

These are wide automatic gates, suitable for use by wheelchair users, those with Guide or Assistance dogs and customers with large luggage or pushchairs.

They’re operated in the same way as the normal automatic gates and there will normally be one in the entrance and exit section of each gate line.

In some stations, such as Victoria, Wide Aisle Gates have replaced the manual gates, though staff are still on hand to assist as necessary.

Location

There's a Wide Aisle Gate at the left-hand end of the gate line in the entrance concourse.
